A Social Enterprise
The plan for the next two to five years is to develop Active Grindleford as a Social Enterprise. This means that we aim to trade as a business in order to make sport accessible for residents and visitors and to encourage people to exercise, particularly women, young people and over 45s. We hope to generate income from sponsorship, membership, hiring out the facilities and providing coaching and competitions.
Throughout this period, Active Grindleford are being supported by Sport England and Social Enterprise East Midlands.
